Garry Lee, P. Eng., President, Global Advantage and Global EMC Inc
Garry established Global Advantage International Inc. after gaining significant product safety experience with CSA International and Underwriters Laboratories of Canada. A Professional Engineer, Garry and the Global team have made significant progress in establishing Global as one of the greater Toronto area's premier product safety labs and international compliance provider. Garry is active in the Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs, with Global Advantage winning "Best Start Up" in 2004. Garry is a frequent guest speaker to Seneca College students as a business entrepreneur and maintains a high profile in the Toronto Professional Engineers product safety industry.
Garry is responsible for overall strategic plans, sales and client development activities for both Global Advantage and Global EMC Inc.
Doug McIntyre, Vice President and General Manager, Global EMC
Doug McIntyre, Vice President and General Manager, Global EMC, brings more than 35 years of senior management experience to the Global Team. Doug served as the Chief Financial Officer of several fast growth, publicly traded high tech companies, including the successful Initial Public Offering of Xenos Group and previously as CFO of Barringer Technologies (now Smith Detections). Doug gained his high tech experience as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Former Chairman and a continuing director of the York Technology Association, he also serves as a Champion of The Mentoring Partnership coaching experienced immigrants to established positions in Canadian companies and continues significant charitable activities in York Region's community.
In addition to strategic planning and market development activities, Doug is responsible for the operations and administration of Global EMC.
Scott Drysdale, EMC Lab Manager
Scott Drysdale, EMC Lab Manager, joined the Global EMC Team to support the launch of the EMC facility. Scott is NARTE certified, an IEEE member for over 15 years and is a member of the IEEE EMC Society. Previously, Scott served for more than seven years as a senior EMC technical specialist with a private Ottawa EMC laboratory specializing in military testing. He also gained four years experience as a Lead Test Engineer at Cisco Systems in San Jose. Scott brings more than 11 years of bench experience with independent test laboratories. Scott is active in the EMC community, keeping abreast of evolving technologies and EMC applications with a continuing focus on customer service and quality testing.
